    Abstract: A system and method for visualizing a room having at least one furniture piece. The method involves selecting the at least one furniture piece to display and displaying an image having the selected at least one furniture piece. A width dimension and a height dimension of the at least one furniture piece within the displayed image are substantially equal to a width dimension and a height dimension of the actual selected at least one furniture piece. The image is displayed with a lower edge of the image near a floor of a room in which the image is displayed. A bottom of the at least one furniture piece within the image is also near the lower edge of the image. This way, a customer next to the display can feel as though they are standing next to an actual furniture piece.
