Abstract: An abandonment remarketing system streamlines the recovery of on-line abandoning consumers by financing incentives through other parties interested in conducting business with the abandoning consumer. The system may enhance the recovery of on-line abandoning consumers by offering an abandoning consumer an opportunity to receive an incentive redeemable with an abandoned on-line retailer while reducing or eliminating the cost of the incentive to the on-line retailer.
