  • Patent number: 7729421
Abstract: Loss of decoding time prior to the vertical synchronization signal when motion video is arbitrarily scaled and positioned by placing the frame switch point at the completion of frame decoding and synchronizing the bottom border of the scaled image therewith while maintaining low latency of decoded data. High latency operation is provided only when necessitated by minimal spill buffer capacity and in combination with fractional image size reduction in the decoding path in order to maintain image resolution without requiring additional memory.

  • Patent number: 7571913
Abstract: A tracked vehicle includes a track assembly with a bogie assembly for riding on snow, mud, sand, etc. The track assembly includes a continuous track movably disposed about a drive wheel and a bogie wheel disposed rearward of the drive wheel. The drive wheel and bogie wheel are pivotally coupled to a rear fork. The rear fork is pivotally coupled to a frame of the tracked vehicle. A bias member biases the drive wheel and the bogie wheel towards the ground.

  • Patent number: 6663117
Abstract: A tracked vehicle (18), or a kit (10) for converting a standard bicycle (14) into a tracked cycle, includes a track assembly (22) with a bogie assembly (84) for riding on snow, mud, sand, etc. The track assembly includes a continuous track (60) movably disposed about a drive wheel (64) coupled to a frame (34) of the vehicle or bike, and a bogie wheel (68) disposed rearward of the drive wheel. The bogie assembly includes a compliant and resilient arm (80) coupling the bogie wheel to the frame of the vehicle or bike. The arm exerts a force against the bogie wheel, which forces the track towards the riding surface.

  • Publication number: 20020130293
Abstract: A valve for a fluid conduit, the valve including two valve housings adapted to be matingly joined to form the valve. Each valve housing includes a valve membrane having a deformable reed valve formed therein. A raised boss on each reed valve is designed to engage the opposing raised boss to cause mutual opening of the opposed reed valves. The raised bosses are brought into engagement upon interlocking of the two valve housings. Releasing the interlock between the two valve housings displaces the two raised bosses to allow the respective reed valves to close prior to separating the two valve housing.

  • Patent number: 6012249
Abstract: An insulated plant cover (10) having a transparent or translucent inner cylinder (12) which has an inner cylinder top (12T) and an inner cylinder bottom (12B). The inner cylinder top (12T) has an inner cylinder top chimney (12TA) positioned at a top distal end and an inner cylinder bottom spacer (12BA) positioned circumferentially along a bottom distal end and is sealably attached thereto. The insulated plant cover (10) further has a transparent or translucent outer cylinder (14) which comprises an outer cylinder top (14T) and an outer cylinder bottom (14B). The outer cylinder top (14T) has an outer cylinder top upper edge (14TA) positioned circumferentially along a top distal end and an outer cylinder bottom lower edge (14TB) positioned circumferentially along a bottom distal end. The inner cylinder (12) is positioned within the outer cylinder (14). The inner cylinder bottom edge (12BB) is sealably attached to the inner cylinder bottom spacer (12BA).
