Abstract: A wireless weight scale and system. A receiving platform includes a top side and a bottom side. The receiving platform can receive a load having a mass. A load cell is disposed on the bottom side of the receiving platform. The load cell includes a load cell wireless transmitter and often a load cell wireless receiver. A control unit includes a display and a processor connected to a wireless transmitter and a wireless receiver. The load cell wireless transmitter transmits a wireless signal to the wireless receiver of the control unit upon the detection, by the load cell, of the load upon the receiving platform.
