Publication number: 20150313769Abstract: An absorbent article includes at least two stacked individual absorbent pads. A first of said absorbent pads is configured for being releasably attached to an underwear of a user, and a bottom surface of a second of said absorbent pads is configured for being releasably attached to a top surface of said first absorbent pad. The second absorbent pad includes at least one side portion which has been folded upwardly and inwardly along a substantially longitudinal fold line, such as to form an easily graspable gripping flap for simplifying manual handling of the second absorbent pad during removal thereof from the first absorbent pad. A method for manufacturing such an absorbent article also is disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2012Publication date: November 5, 2015Applicant: SCA HYGIENE PRODUCTS ABInventors: Dennis DAHL, Angelica BURVALL

Patent number: 8900210Abstract: A kit including an absorbent article and a wrapper for the absorbent article. The wrapper is defined by a boundary. The wrapper includes at least one slit which partitions the wrapper to define a strip thereof. The strip is arranged such that the absorbent article may be rolled and/or folded within the wrapper and retained in a rolled and/or folded configuration by using the strip. Also, a method for disposal of an absorbent article.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2008Date of Patent: December 2, 2014Assignee: SCA Hygiene Products ABInventors: Solgun Drevik, Dennis Dahl, Fredrik Karlsson

Patent number: 8178746Abstract: A delivery device for a sanitary article includes an encapsulating material with a first layer and a second layer, enclosing an additive in a space formed by these layers of encapsulating material. The delivery device also includes a third layer, positioned above the second layer of encapsulating material. The third layer extends beyond and thereby covers substantially all of the edges of the second layer of encapsulating material. The third layer may also extend into and throughout the space formed between the first and second layers of encapsulating material that enclose the additive. The third layer thereby protects the user of a product comprising the delivery device from contact with the edges of the second layer of encapsulating material and also provides a means for attaching the delivery device to an article to keep it in place during transport storage and use. The invention also relates to sanitary articles, such as hygiene tissues and absorbent articles, containing the delivery device.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2006Date of Patent: May 15, 2012Assignee: SCA Hygiene Products ABInventors: Jenny Hildeberg, Anna Klinte Olsson, Ulrika Husmark, Dennis Dahl

Patent number: 5403026Abstract: A crop deflector for use with a self-propelled vehicle having a frame, a wheel, and a shock absorbing suspension assembly mounting the wheel to the frame. A deflector frame is coupled to the wheel such that the deflector frame steers with the wheel as the deflector frame pivots in a main support on the suspension assembly such that the deflector frame does not move directly with the wheel when the wheel is loaded by contact with rough ground surface. A deflector shield is attached to the deflector frame for interacting with the crop rows. In a preferred embodiment, the deflector frame is pivotally connected to the suspension assembly by a bushing such that the deflector frame pivots about the steering axis of the wheel so it turns with the wheel. A steering arm connected to the wheel support and to the deflector frame steers the crop deflector thereby causing the deflector frame to pivot about the steering axis.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 1993Date of Patent: April 4, 1995Assignee: Clark Equipment CompanyInventor: Dennis A. Patent number: 4834249Abstract: In a vehicle provided with a boom assembly that extends laterally therefrom during use, a self-leveling mount for said assembly employs a swinging linkage having dampening device incorporated into the pivotal connections of the linkage to suppress side-to-side oscillation of the boom. Each such device includes a tubular member arranged on a fore-and-aft axis of the vehicle, an axle in the member movable with an associated leg of the linkage, a resilient bushing in the member around the axle, and means subjecting the bushing to axial compression to force the bushing radially outwardly and inwardly into frictional engagement with the inner surface of the member and an outer surface of the axle it surrounds. Compression of the bushing is caused by force against pressure elements in the form of washers that bear against the ends of the bushing, thereby eliminating the need for oil-filled shock absorbers or other costly components to suppress boom oscillation.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 1987Date of Patent: May 30, 1989Assignee: Clark Equipment CompanyInventor: Dennis A.
