The apparatus can include a slot nozzle, a pressure roller, and a drive roller. The drive roller and pressure roller are movable to first positions in which the drive roller and pressure roller are spaced from the laminate, and second positions in which the drive roller and pressure roller contact the laminate to feed the veneer over the slot nozzle. The apparatus may be used to apply adhesive to raw veneer provided in strip form and to laminates provided in roll form.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to an extremely compact camera-processor which is configured to sharply reverse the direction of the exposed light sensitive sheet as it leaves the exposure plane. The light sensitive sheet is thereafter driven downwardly into a processor bath along with a relatively flimsy receptor sheet.

Abstract: A unique gear drive control means is provided for causing the execution of various operations in the camera processor, such as driving the light sensitive medium to the exposure station, cutting the medium, driving the medium through a second transport means, and driving the medium again through the second transport means, along with a receptor sheet, which sheets are thereafter introduced into the entrance portion of a diffusion transfer processor. A single motor turns both the rocker itself and three gears mounted thereon, which gears sequentially actuate various drive gears of the processor to carry out the various film manipulation steps.

Abstract: A combined washer and aspirator device which is readily adapted to both aspirate and wash material from a solid body in a confined space. The washer-aspirator device is especially constructed to be utilized in conjunction with a hepatitis test wherein the device can remove and/or wash serum from a detection carrier such as a spherical ball. In a preferred embodiment, the device has a probe with an orifice for holding the ball in a suspended state as it is washed and aspirated.

Abstract: A test apparatus for the determination of immunoassays of antigens and their antibodies which comprises a receptacle tray having a plurality of wells for receiving and samples, a holder for receiving and holding balls, coated with an immunologic composition and for depositing the balls into the wells of said receptacle tray, a ball-release piece fitting over one end of the holder, the ball-release piece being arranged to release the balls from the holder when pressed, and a cap to fit on the open end of the ball-release piece.
