  • Publication number: 20180362059
Abstract: A utility handcart for transporting equipment, materials, goods, supplies, animals, and people during or after a natural or man made disaster. The handcart includes a solid body and integrated body/frame design increasing durability to withstand constant use over long distances on rough terrain. An ergonomic placement of side-rails, adjustable height, and low rolling resistance through use of modern no-flat wheels with precision bearings, eases burdens and energy demands which are placed on humans when transporting various items. Materials are selected to reduce or eliminate regular service or maintenance. A kickstand aids the loading and unloading of the handcart, and positions the handcart ready for use. A ratcheting uphill assist prevents rolling backwards. The handcart may be assembled or disassembled without tools and components compactly arranged for storing and transporting.
