  • Patent number: 10373345
Abstract: Learning methods and systems are provided for predictive medical image calibration. In various embodiments, a request is received from a user for an image. One or more characteristic of the image is determined. One or more characteristic of the user is determined. A generalized linear model is applied to the one or more characteristic of the image and the one or more characteristic of the user to determine one or more image transformation. The one or more image transformation is applied to the image. The generalized linear model is updated based on any user-applied image transformations.

  • Patent number: 5868491
Abstract: A lamp especially adapted for use in or on a vehicle, and having an "on-off" switch actuable by movement of the lamp housing to eliminate the necessity of a separate switch component in the illuminating circuit or lamp structure for operating the lamp. The movement of the lamp housing insures that the contacts through which the lamp is illuminated do not become permanently joined, and are cleaned to enhance the operational reliability of the lamp.

  • Patent number: 4884179
Abstract: An all-purpose lamp for use with vehicles. The lamp includes an air impervious housing having a lens formed therein in optical alignment with a bulb carried within the housing. The housing is open at its lower end for receiving a bulb carrier which is movable relative to the housing. Movement of the bulb carrier controls the on-off operation of the lamp. In one embodiment this switching function is effected by operation of a slide supported on the lamp housing and engaging the bulb carrier. Movement of the slide relative to the lamp housing will effect a corresponding movement of the bulb carriage, thereby moving the bulb in to and out from engagement with a pair of electrical contacts supported within the upper portion of the lamp housing. In this manner, illumination of the lamp is controlled by moving the slide to effect a corresponding movement of the bulb carrier into engagement with the electrical contacts coupled to the vehicle power supply.

  • Patent number: 4700277
Abstract: There is provided an auxiliary lamp for use with a vehicle having a standardized enclosed body with a replaceable lens which may be interchanged with other lenses depending upon the function the lamp is to perform. The light bulb which illuminates the lamp is carried within the lamp housing by means of a standardized bulb holder insertable through the bottom of the housing, and forming a closure thereof preventing light from passing through the bottom opening of the housing through which the bulb holder is inserted. The bulb holder may be easily adapted to carry either a single or double filament bulb depending upon the particular function the lamp is to perform. However, the lamp housing and the holder in which the bulb is carried are constructed in the same manner, whether using a single or a double filament bulb, with appropriate electrical connections being provided on the bulb holder to accommodate the different bulbs as necessitated by the function the bulb filaments are to perform.

  • Patent number: 4506314
Abstract: A submersible lamp having a standardized air impervious housing with a lens formed therein in optical alignment with a bulb carried within the housing. The housing defines a predetermined quantity of air and has an opening at the lower end thereof such that upon submersion in water a limited amount of water is allowed to enter the housing, trapping the air within the housing and preventing the water from rising above a predetermined level. A channel is formed on the rear wall of the lamp housing to receive a bulb and bulb socket support bracket for the selective mounting and positioning of the bulb within the housing in accordance with the function which the lamp is to perform.

  • Patent number: 4281367
Abstract: A submersible lamp having a housing and a lens with a bulb carried therein in optical alignment with the lens. A pair of terminal connections are provided for electrically coupling the bulb to a source of illuminating energy. The housing forms an open air chamber to define a volume of air such that upon submersion of the housing in water, the air is compressed to create a force sufficient to prevent the water from rising within the housing above a pre-determined level into contact with the bulb and terminal connections.
