  • Publication number: 20200375296
Abstract: A head protection system, comprising; a helmet or hat; and one or more pads. The one or more pads are configured to engage the helmet or hat via an engagement mechanism, which may be selected from a hook and loop fastener, an adhesive, and friction snaps. The engagement mechanism may be located on a rear portion of said headwear.

  • Patent number: 9833652
Abstract: A resistance band system including a frame-assembly, a plurality of linear-straps, and a plurality of removable-D-rings. The frame-assembly, the plurality of linear-straps and plurality of removable-D-rings of the resistance band system are structured and arranged in combination to allow a user to affix a linear-resistance-band to the resistance band system to provide an overall exercise system which provides the user with a plurality of locations to affix the linear-resistance-band to the resistance band system to allow a highly flexible and diverse exercise system to the user. The frame-assembly includes an upper-frame, a lower-frame, and a u-member. The upper-frame includes two primary-members, two inbars, two forward-bars, and a crown-bar. The lower-frame includes two first-members, two downbars, and down-cross-member. The u-member comp includes rises a body, two legs, and two t-couplers, with u-member rotatably coupled to the lower-frame via the two t-couplers.

  • Publication number: 20080184864
Abstract: A stringed instrument including a housing defining an interior space, at least one string on the housing, an amplifier positioned in the interior space and attached to the housing and a pick-up on the housing and positioned adjacent to the string where the pick-up converts vibrations from the string into electrical signals and transmits the electrical signals to the amplifier. The stringed instrument includes an audio input on the housing and coupled to the amplifier, where the audio input is coupled to a digital music player and sound stored by the digital music player is coupled to the amplifier. At least one speaker is mounted in the housing and coupled to the amplifier. The amplifier converts electrical signals from the pick-up into live music and the speaker emits both the live music and the sound from the digital music player to enable a player to play along with the sound.

  • Publication number: 20030206891
Abstract: This invention concerns new configurations for biological switches and provides new methods and materials useful for regulating biological events in animal cells. The invention involves recombinant DNA constructs comprising DNA sequences derived from sequences encoding the proteins FRAP, Tor1, Tor2 and other proteins capable of binding to FKBP:rapamycin, other recombinant DNA constructs comprising DNA sequences encoding part or all of an FKBP protein, the proteins encoded by those constructs, cells (especially animal cells) transformed with one or more of the constructs, small molecules (multivalent multimerizing agents) which bind to and are capable of inducing multimerization of the chimeric proteins, and methods for preparing and using the foregoing, including methods involving the intramuscular delivery of such recombinant DNA constructs in AAV virus particles.
