  • Patent number: 11954985
Abstract: Systems, and methods for communicating during a calamity include a processing system of a first ATM that is communicably coupled via an ATM network to a second ATM. The first ATM includes an external network connection separate from the ATM network. The processing system can modify the first ATM from a first mode to a second mode responsive to detecting an event indicative of a calamity. The processing system can receive a user input to send a message to an address. The processing system can transmit the message to the second ATM via the ATM network, to cause the second ATM to route the message to the address. The processing system can receive a response to the message via the ATM network from the second ATM. The processing system can display the response to the message on a user interface of the first ATM.

  • Patent number: 11916481
Abstract: A Buck constant voltage driver and an application circuit thereof, are disclosed. In the Buck constant voltage driver, the peripheral structure is remained unchanged for possessing the advantages of low cost and simplicity of the prior art. Meanwhile, in order to compensate the difference of output voltage caused by the change of the forward voltage drop under different output currents, an output voltage compensation module is added to the Buck constant voltage driver. The output voltage compensation module is operable to acquire an output current information based on the sampling voltage on the sampling resistor, and to compensate the preset first reference voltage according to the output current information, thus maintaining the output voltage of the Buck constant voltage driver constant, under different output current conditions.

  • Patent number: 10112622
Abstract: A vehicle includes at least one main sensor unit, the measurement signal of which is characteristic of a main driver desire of a vehicle occupant with regard to an influence on the driving behavior of the vehicle, and at least one secondary sensor unit, the measurement signal of which is characteristic of a secondary driver desire. The main driver desire is represented by a motion of a hand or a foot of the vehicle occupant. The secondary driver desire is represented in a manner other than by the motion of the hand or the foot of the vehicle occupant. The vehicle also has at least one actuator. The actuator influences the driving behavior of the vehicle in dependence on a control signal. A resulting driver desire with regard to the influence on the driving behavior of the vehicle is determined in dependence on the main driver desire and in dependence on the secondary driver desire. In the case of a neutral value of the main driver desire, the secondary driver desire is assigned to the resulting driver desire.

  • Publication number: 20170083185
Abstract: Example implementations described herein are directed to implementing a transition state between the moving state and the placement state of the graphical object. The transition state contains a visual indicator on the display to indicate that a graphical object is undergoing a placement, along with a temporal indicator to indicate length of time until placement. During the transition phase, input is directed by the GUI towards control of the graphical object in the transition state, whereupon when the graphical object is moved away from the placement location, the transition state may reset, and the temporal indicator may also reset to indicate the refreshed length of time until placement.

  • Patent number: 9262359
Abstract: Disclosed is a method, system, and computer program product for automated implementation of pipeline flip-flops in an electronic design. Two operating modes can be used either together or separately to implement pipeline flip-flops. An analysis mode is employed to perform a determination of the number of stages of pipeline flip-flops needed for particular portions of an electronic design. A placement stage is used to place the pipeline flip-flops in the layout.

  • Patent number: 7693505
Abstract: The present invention relates to a signal detector, which discerns the presence of signals in a circumscribed area, and a warning is given if a signal is detected. The signal detector adjusts its conditions for the background noise elimination depending on the detected environments in order to discern the presence of signals more efficiently and correctly. Moreover, the present invention shows on a display device the protocol of the detected signal, and enables the user to know the type of the detected signal. Besides, the user can also choose to control the signal detector in a wired or wireless way through the signal connection port, and the user can manually adjust detecting conditions to its environment.

  • Patent number: 7505730
Abstract: The present invention is related to a cellular phone jammer permitting cellular phones to be used in an emergency, and includes a cellular phone signal-obstructing apparatus and an alarm apparatus. The cellular phone signal-obstructing apparatus further has a cellular phone signal-blocking unit, a power supply unit, and a trigger unit. The cellular phone signal-blocking unit sends out a blocking-signal to disconnect the communication between cellular phones and cellular tower within the effective range. The trigger unit connects to the power supply unit and cellular phone signal-blocking unit in series. The invention effectively disconnect the communication between the cellular phones and cellular tower within a range, yet automatically turns off the jammer when there is an emergency in the designated area to resume normal communication between cellular phones and cellular tower so that the users can call for help.

  • Publication number: 20080224868
Abstract: A property anti-theft apparatus includes a transmitting unit and a receiving unit. The transmitting unit is installed on a property, and the transmitting unit includes a sensing device and a radio transmitting circuit. The sensing device is used for sensing a movement of the property. When the sensing device senses that the movement of the property exceeds a predetermined distance, it triggers the radio transmitting circuit to transmit a radio signal. The receiving unit is used for receiving the radio signal, so as to alert the movement of the property.

  • Publication number: 20080219460
Abstract: This present invention provides a bug detector for detecting a hidden bug, comprising: an acoustic generator, an identification decoder, and a control device. The acoustic generator generates a specific audio signal for the microphone of the bug receiving the specific audio signal and outputting a radio signal through the radio transmitter. The identification decoder receives the radio signal for decoding so as to obtain a decoded audio signal. The control device connects to the acoustic generator and the identification decoder for comparing the specific audio signal with the decoded audio signal so as to determine that the bug is existence or not.

  • Publication number: 20080061978
Abstract: The present invention relates to a moving object locating apparatus that comprises a search unit and at least one target unit. The first central processing unit is configured to proceed with coding, and the antenna module is configured to transmit searching signals that carry identification codes. The target unit, which is provided with a default identification code, comprises a radio transmit-receive unit, a second central processing unit and a second power unit. When the radio transmit-receive unit receives the searching signal, the second central processing unit will decode the identification code carried by the searching signal and matches with the default identification code of the target unit. When two codes are matched, the second central processing unit then will proceed to coding and then actuate the radio transmit-receive unit to transmit a response signal, which carries the default identification code, back to the search unit.

  • Patent number: 7321297
Abstract: The present invention relates to a property supervisory control system. The property supervisory control system operates with an image-capturing device, combines, and outputs a warning signal and image record by the image-capturing device to a supervisory control center. The security service personnel in the supervisory control center can be notified with the type of an object and a displacement of the object by the property supervisory control system when the object is moved abnormally in a scanning region of a wireless receiver. Because the wireless emitter transmits signals only when the object is moved, the power life of the battery of the wireless emitter could be extended.

  • Publication number: 20070229286
Abstract: A fall-over alert device includes a transceiver, a detecting unit, and a CPU. When the detecting unit detects an abnormal condition from the fall-over alert, the CPU outputs a rescue request signal having an identification code via the transceiver. When a user accidentally falls over or falls unconsciously, the fall-over alert device sends out a rescue request signal with the identification code via the transceiver for help.

  • Patent number: 7155694
Abstract: In accordance with a method for generating a trial placement plan for an IC having two or more identical modules, a floor plan reserves a separate area of identical size and shape for each of the identical modules, one of which is designated a “master module” and the others designated “clone modules”. A placement and routing (P&R) tool initially places all of the cell instances of the clone modules at the center of their reserved areas. The P&R tool then employs a conventional placement algorithm to iteratively adjust positions of cell instances of all other modules, including the master module within their reserved areas in a manner that tries to minimize net lengths. The P&R tool copies the placement within the master module area into the clone module areas either after every N>0 iterations of the placement algorithm and/or after the placement algorithm has completed placement for the master module area.
