Patent number: 11887273Abstract: A post capture imagery processing system is provided. The system is for use with aerial imagery and includes a server having a processor and a memory and a software application providing instruction to the server to process the captured aerial imagery, such as spherical imagery. The server further includes instructions to geo-rectify the spherical imagery. The geo rectifying of the spherical imagery may include one of use of a third party GIS map to associate corresponding data with the spherical imagery in order to produce a geo-referenced spherical image, or calculate the geo-references by a software application performing particular operations on the server.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2022Date of Patent: January 30, 2024Assignee: Aerial Sphere, LLCInventors: Dennis J. Vegh, John C. Femiani, Michael Katic, Anshuman Razdan

Patent number: 11630857Abstract: A data capturing system for use with aerial spherical imagery is provided. The system allows for capturing and tracking of data with respect to those accessing and viewing particular aerial spherical imagery, such as the imagery on a GIS map. The data capturing system may include a server having a processor and a memory and a software application providing instruction to the server to display aerial spherical imagery, such as spherical imagery, to a user through a network connection, such as through the Internet. For example the system may provide the map as a website to the user that is displayed on a remote computing device accessible by the user in order to view the spherical imagery. Data related to the interaction of the user with the website is captured and tracked in order to use such data for other purposes.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 2021Date of Patent: April 18, 2023Assignee: Aerial Sphere, LLCInventors: Dennis J. Patent number: 10220961Abstract: An aerial image capturing device is provided. The aerial image capturing device includes a camera array formed of multiple camera mounted to a camera array base. Aerial image capturing device further includes a mount for mounting the aerial image capturing device to the aircraft. The camera array base is moveably coupled to the mount by an actuating device, wherein the actuating device moves the camera array base away from and toward the mount. The movement of the camera array base allows for movement of the camera to a position to capture images without interference of the aircraft in the image. It also allows for moving the camera array into a position to not interfere with the landing gear. The aerial image capturing device may further include an image actuation device that synchronizes the image capturing of all of the cameras in the camera array.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2016Date of Patent: March 5, 2019Assignee: Aerial Sphere, LLCInventor: Dennis J. Publication number: 20150362827Abstract: A cable traversing camera carrying device is provided having a manifold and a camera carriage coupled to the manifold. The manifold includes a first side plate and a second side plate. The manifold also includes two idler pulleys coupled between the first and second side plates located at opposing sides of the manifold and adjacent the top side of manifold. The manifold further includes a drive pulley coupled between the first and second side plates operatively engaged by a remotely activated and controlled motor. The drive pulley is located in a middle portion of the manifold below a line defined between axes of the two idler pulleys. The two idler pulleys and the drive pulley are adjustable to adjust the tension in a cable operatively extending through and engaging the idler pulleys and the drive pulley.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 25, 2015Publication date: December 17, 2015Inventor: Dennis J.
