  • Patent number: 5082279
Abstract: A golf club that is substantially hollow and partially filed with a viscous fluid or other flowable material such as ball-bearings or sand and has multiple compartments to capture the weight in different sections to change the weight of the club at the golf head or handle.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 16, 1990
Date of Patent: January 21, 1992
Inventors: Harold L. Hull, Dennis J. Waite
  • Patent number: 5056778
Abstract: A dumbbell partially filled with a liquid such as water that has a passageway in the gripping portion with a valve to control the rate of flow and when the wrist is twisted, the liquid flows from one end of the dumbbell to the other thus providing an increasing controllable resistance to the wrist and arm muscles. Also the device may be attached to other portions of the body, such as a foot, by hook and loop fastener.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 6, 1990
Date of Patent: October 15, 1991
Inventors: Harold L. Hull, Dennis J. Waite
  • Patent number: 4986535
Abstract: A therapeutic and exercise device which is substantially a two-step hollow ladder partially filled with a viscous fluid such as water and also containing ballast such as ball bearings for adding additional weight, with the fluid and ballast shifting from one end of the ladder to the other when one end is held lower than the other, thus increasing weight slowly from one end to the other. The two-step hollow ladder also includes valves to control the rate of flow.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 14, 1989
Date of Patent: January 22, 1991
Inventors: Harold L. Hull, Dennis J. Waite
