    Abstract: A method includes heating a glass preform having a plurality of glass layers and drawing the glass preform in a distal direction to form a drawn glass sheet extending distally from the glass preform and having the plurality of glass layers. The drawn glass sheet is thinner than the glass preform. The drawn glass sheet can be rolled onto a collection spool. At least a portion of a glass layer can be removed from the drawn glass sheet. An exemplary glass sheet includes a first glass layer, a second glass layer adjacent to the first glass layer, and a thickness of at most about 0.1 mm. An exemplary ion exchanged glass sheet includes a thickness of at most about 0.1 mm and a surface layer that is under a compressive stress and extends into an interior of the glass sheet to a depth of layer.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a squeezable fiber-based bottle for storing and dispensing a viscous liquid. The bottle comprises a molded base including a liquid containing surface having an aperture for dispensing viscous liquid. The molded base includes a base perimeter having a perimeter surface with an upper edge and a lower edge. The squeezable fiber-based bottle comprises a fiber-based side wall having an upper edge, a lower edge, an inner surface, and an outer surface. The side wall includes a front, a back and two opposing side panels. At least one of the opposing side panels includes crease lines forming a flat portion. The fiber-based side wall is attached to the molded base forming an impermeable seal such that the lower edge of fiber-based side wall is disposed near the perimeter surface upper edge but not the perimeter surface lower edge. The impermeable seal is formed about the entire perimeter surface of the molded base.

    Abstract: The invention is a knee ankle foot orthosis for controlling and preventing knee buckling through an innovative stirrup that is fixedly connected at its proximal section to the anterior inferior segment of the orthosis' calf engaging section. The stirrup has a twisted section between its proximal and distal sections so the proximal section is in a coronal plane while the distal section is in a sagittal plane and connects to the lateral side of the footplate. The stirrup's proximal section does not rotate relative to the calf engaging section while the distal end of the stirrup bends relative to the proximal end of the stirrup, thereby storing energy like a leaf spring when it is bent. The bent stirrup applies a posterior directed force in the sagittal plane to the orthosis' calf engaging segment to prevent knee buckling during the mid-stance segment of the gait cycle.
