    Abstract: A process and apparatus is disclosed for preparation of a no-jam vending machine card wherein the card is treated with a suitably adhering powder to have a residual powder layer on the card to reduce generation of an electrical static charge upon each card as the card is dispensed by the vending machine. The process comprises applying a suitable dusting powder and testing the dusted card for the necessary residual powder layer. The apparatus comprises a powder dusting device and a card powder layer testing device.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-surfaced foil laminate comprising an improved credit card and identification card having printed indicia visible on both sides through a clear plastic over-laminating film, the foil laminate comprising two printed surfaces, both surfaces printed by conventional lithography offset halftone printing. Alternative embodiments comprise a foil laminate with a printed metal foil outside surface and a printed plastic film outside surface and a foil laminate with two printed foil outside surfaces.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing a multi-layered foil laminate having at least two layers, both layer printed on the outer sides by conventional lithography offset halftone printing, one layer comprising a plastic material film, a second layer comprising a metal foil adhering securely to a plastic material film, the metal foil bonded to the plastic film material by a heat-acted dry bond adhesive. The two layer bonded together. The two-layer embodiment is over laminated with a plastic film material and severed into predetermined segments, which can be embossed and finished with a scratch off or ultra-graphic coating to enhance appearance and utility.
