Abstract: A simulated golf putting green, including a base having an upper surface, lower surface and opposed side walls. A cup is cut into the base to enable golf balls putted thereto, to drop into the cup. A trough returns the golf ball to the starting position. The base is angularly inclined so that the putting is not “on flat.” A backstop enables an errant ball to be returned to the starting position.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods and apparatus for treating flue gas containing sulfur dioxide using a scrubber, and more particularly relates to recovering gypsum and magnesium hydroxide products from the scrubber blowdown. The gypsum and magnesium hydroxide products are created using two separate precipitation reactions. Gypsum is crystallized when magnesium sulfate reacts with calcium chloride. Magnesium hydroxide is precipitated when magnesium chloride from the gypsum crystallization process reacts with calcium hydroxide. The process produces a high quality gypsum with a controllable pH and particle size distribution, as well as high quality magnesium hydroxide.

Abstract: A suspension relief device and method of use for minimizing suspension trauma to a user suspended in a harness in an elevated position in which the user's legs are dangling beneath the user's heart. The suspension relief device attaches to the user's harness and includes a strap for providing a foothold for the user's feet and a sliding loop for adjusting the length of the strap.
