  • Publication number: 20250127216
Abstract: Described is a method for moisturizing a pouched product for oral use. The method includes the steps of: a) providing a plurality of pouched products, the pouched products having a first moisture content; b) laying down the pouched products on a support surface; and c) applying water with a water application tool comprising a water dispensing arrangement to the pouched products in a confined water application area of the support surface, to raise the moisture content to a second moisture content, the second moisture content being higher than the first moisture content, wherein the first moisture content is from 2% by weight to 30% by weight based on the total weight of the pouched product, and the second moisture content is from 20% by weight to 60% by weight based on the pouched product, the second moisture content being at least 25% higher than the first moisture content.

  • Patent number: 7961880
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for determining scrambling codes for minimizing co-channel interference in a communication system. A method in accordance with the present invention comprises defining at least one initial default sequence, generating a scrambling code, scrambling a signal using the generated scrambling code, comparing the scrambled signal with all other scrambled signals meeting a specified criterion, and saving the scrambling code word if the comparison determines that the signal scrambled with the scrambling code also meets the specified criterion. The scrambling codes can be compared with each other for cross-correlation purposes to determine whether they meet the specified criterion based on laboratory testing.
