  • Publication number: 20240074321
Abstract: A dielectric transducer for use in a sensor, actuator or generator comprising a plurality of layers of transducer foils, wherein an electrically contactable and conductive layer forming an electrode layer is applied to at least one side of each transducer foil. Expediently, at least two contact elements are provided, each of which is arranged at least partially in a recess or in a through-channel and extends over at least one layer of transducer foils, adjacent electrode layers being electrically conductively connected to different contact elements. Since adjacent electrode layers are connected to different contact elements, intended use is possible, and bringing together several contact lines is advantageously not necessary. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing a multilayer dielectric transducer for use in a sensor, an actuator or a generator, as well as an actuator, a sensor or a generator.

  • Patent number: 11841240
Abstract: A system and a method for the dynamic and robust updating of a digital map for self-driving vehicles are provided. The system includes a server that is configured to determine a non-up-to-date geographical region of the digital map. The system also includes a vehicle fleet having a plurality of self-driving vehicles. The server is configured to determine the geographical position of the vehicles, to select a suitable vehicle from the vehicle fleet, and to instruct the selected vehicle to move to the non-up-to-date region of the digital map. The vehicle is configured to capture, in the non-up-to-date geographical region, data that is suitable for updating the non-up-to-date geographical region of the digital map.

  • Publication number: 20210405639
Abstract: A driving assistance system for an autonomously driving vehicle includes environment sensors in the vehicle, which are configured to detect environment data of the vehicle; a computing unit, which is configured to determine the position of a target person in a surrounding area of the vehicle on the basis of the environment data; and a device for autonomous driving, which is configured to move the vehicle to a position which is located at a predetermined distance or less from the position of the target person and to stop the vehicle there.

  • Publication number: 20210255618
Abstract: A robot of a plurality of robots is remotely operated. The state of the robot is determined. A first desired state of the robot is determined. First control data are generated to transfer the robot into the first desired state. The robot is controlled based on the first control data. Actual operating data is transmitted to a server. Second control data is received from the server. The control data transfers the robot into a second desired state. The robot is autonomously controlled based on the second control data. The robot may include a controller that communicates with a server.

  • Publication number: 20160201231
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a yarn from a plurality of polylactide pellets begins with the step of melting the plurality of polylactide pellets to form liquid polylactide. The liquid polylactide is extruded through an opening to form a fiber. The opening through which the liquid polylactide is extruded is less than three denier wide in diameter. A plurality of fibers that have been extruded are spun together to create the yarn.
