  • Publication number: 20230277043
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for lubricating a medical device, such as a colonoscope, being introduced into a patient's body. In one example, the apparatus includes a housing including a proximal surface, a distal surface, an interior communicating with the proximal and distal surfaces; and a lubricant within the interior of the housing such that a scope or other device inserted through the interior receives lubricant on its outer surface before introduction into a patient's body.

  • Patent number: 11571117
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for lubricating a medical device, such as a colonoscope, being introduced into a patient's body. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a housing including a proximal surface, a distal surface, a channel extending between the proximal and distal surfaces; and a lubricant within an interior of the housing surrounding the channel such that a scope or other device inserted through the channel receives lubricant on its outer surface before introduction into a patient's body.

  • Publication number: 20050181321
Abstract: A burner manifold for one or a series of burners including a first chamber having at least one outlet leading to said one or more burners and gas supply means arranged to introduce gas to mix with the air. Air is introduced into the first chamber from a second chamber, which is supplied with air under pressure via an inlet and the first and second chambers are arranged to be in fluid communication via a plurality of apertures.

  • Publication number: 20050016519
Abstract: The invention to which this application relates is to a burner assembly of the type which can be used and incorporated into larger apparatus, either in conjunction with other burners or independently to provide a flame and heat. In particular, the burner is for utilization in conjunction with a heat exchanger to supply flame to the heat exchanger (HX) inlets. Rather than provide separate burner assemblies for each inlet as is conventionally the case, the invention allows for the provision of a common burner assembly wit ha series of spaced ports, through which the air gas mixture can pass to allow each of the inlets to be supplied by the common burner assembly. This improves efficiency and reduces cost.

  • Patent number: 6843649
Abstract: The invention which is the subject of this application relates to a burner of the type which can be used as part of cooking apparatus, heating apparatus or the like. The burner includes a plenum chamber and a combustion surface comprising an outer layer of heat resistant material and at least one inner layer of gauze or gauze like material. The gauze like material incandesces when lit and is viewable through apertures in the outer layer. The apertures are grouped and shaped to define at least one alphanumeric character and/or design logo which when is viewable when the burner is lit.
