Abstract: An instrument for removing fractured root canal instruments, comprising an instrument housing formed hollow at least at its front end portion, a slide which is non-rotatably held on the instrument housing but guided for translational movement in an axial direction, a threaded rod which is fixed to the slide and is engaged with a counter thread of the instrument housing or a counter member held on the instrument housing, so that a relative rotational movement between the threaded rod on the one hand and the instrument housing and/or the counter member on the other hand results in an axial displacement of the slide, and fastening means for fastening a wire to the slide, wherein the hollow instrument housing is open towards its front side, so that a wire can be guided through the open front side into the instrument housing and therein to the fastening means.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a kit comprising an endodontic instrument in the form of an endodontic file and a container with a lower container part, for receiving the working section (3c) of the endodontic instrument, and an upper container part, for receiving the upper axial end region of the instrument, wherein a holder is provided on the upper side of the lower container part, which holder comprises an axial through-opening through which the working section of the instrument is inserted into the lower container part and in which the instrument, in particular the tool shaft of the instrument, is fixed in a clamping manner, wherein the upper container part is connected with the lower container part in an airtight manner to form the container, and the interior of the container and the instrument are sterile.

Abstract: A root canal irrigation assembly, comprising a vacuum device, a suction element having an elongate suction tip, and a sonic device having a sonic handpiece for introducing sonic vibrations into the suction element and thus causing the suction tip to vibrate, wherein the rear end of the suction element is connected to the vacuum device such that an irrigation fluid containing tissue residues and/or bacteria can be suctioned out of a root canal. The suction element comprises an internal vibrator which is held in the suction tip and projects out of the front end thereof, wherein the suction tip and the internal vibrator are interconnected at their rear ends, wherein the suction tip is resiliently formed and dimensioned such that, when the suction tip is introduced into a root canal, the suction tip sealingly closes the root canal in the region of the root canal wall.
