  • Patent number: 9988744
Abstract: A viscose multifilament yarn has a crystallinity in the range from 15% to 40%, and, after conditioning in the standard climate according to DIN EN ISO 139:2005, a yarn linear density in the range from ?150 dtex to <1100 dtex and a tensile strength in the range from ?45 cN/tex to ?55 cN/tex.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 24, 2014
Date of Patent: June 5, 2018
Assignee: CORDENKA GMBH & CO. KG
Inventors: Dennis Mössinger, Holger Scheytt, Kurt Uihlein, David Wunderlich, Britta Zimmerer
  • Publication number: 20180094364
Abstract: A cord, in particular for reinforcing tyres, containing a cellulosic multifilament yarn is disclosed, where the cellulosic multifilament yarn has a strength of at least 35 cN/tex and the individual filaments of the multifilament yarn have a linear density of at least 2.3 dtex. In use, such cords exhibit a significantly improved fatigue behaviour—i.e., a significantly higher fatigue resistance—than standard cords with an individual-filament linear density between 1 and 2 dtex.
    Type: Application
    Filed: December 5, 2017
    Publication date: April 5, 2018
Applicant: CORDENKA GMBH & CO. KG
Inventors: Britta ZIMMERER, Kurt UIHLEIN, Holger SCHEYTT, Gerold SCHWIERSCH, Dennis MOESSINGER
