    Abstract: Systems and methods for installing a rolled construction material to a building are described. The systems and methods may be used to install a variety of rolled construction materials on roof structures and surfaces and on building wall structures and surfaces. The system includes an applicator that suspends from a trolley. The applicator includes a shaft and a motor operatively engaged to the shaft for unwinding a roll of the rolled construction material on the shaft. The trolley is in a moveable engagement with a trolley housing. A support connected to the building positions the trolley housing adjacent the building.

    Abstract: A roof covering includes a thin film safety barrier coupled between the lower flanges of spaced roof purlins for supporting the weight of a person thereon in the space between the purlins. The preferred safety barrier includes a plurality of layers with at least one of the layers being vapor impervious. In the preferred embodiment, fasteners are used to couple straps to the purlin lower flange with the barrier there between in order to secure the barrier to the purlins.
