Abstract: The present invention relates to building constructions which are relatively inexpensive and easy to assemble. Under a first embodiment, a building construction comprised of a lower portion and an upper portion wherein the lower portion includes a plurality of walls having a radially outwardly extending top plate which serves to support the upper portion of the building and assists in providing the building with an exaggerated eave is disclosed. Under a second embodiment, the building construction includes a plurality of inner and outer frame members wherein the outer frame members serve the additional function of a trim assembly. As the building constructions of the present invention are relatively easy to construct, the building constructions can be sold as a kit for construction by individuals having relatively little experience in the construction field.

Abstract: A pet enclosure has a generally hollow box shaped base and a roof which is hingedly attached to the base. The hinged roof allows simplified access to the interior of the pet enclosure for cleaning, whelping or the like. The roof of the pet enclosure includes a chimney within which is located a passive vent which can be opened or closed to allow air flow through the pet enclosure to be controlled. A further embodiment of the pet enclosure includes an optional plastic curtain door and/or a solar powered vent fan which replaces the passive vent.

The hanger comprises a seat to which each purlin is connected, and two arms integrally secured to the seat. The arms include integrally formed nails which attach to the surface opposite the surface adjacent to the seat portion of the hanger. Notches are included at the periphery of the support through which the arms of the hangers are hung. The method of construction involves setting up a floor, attaching and bracing the planar supports, hanging and attaching the purlins, taking away the braces, and adding the roof, sidewalls, and the other parts to provide a building construction to be used as a storage hut or the like.
