  • Publication number: 20160224911
Abstract: The present invention embraces a system including a processing device, a memory, and a communication device in communication with a distributed network. The system is configured for assessing and managing risk for a multitude of service providers by receiving service provider information from network feeds over a distributed network and storing such information in a data store prior to analyzing such information to determine an amount of risk an organization assumes based on receiving products or services from a service provider and communicate such information for storage in a data store. The system may further determine risk mitigation controls that may be enacted by an organization in order to mitigate the risk associated with receiving the products or services form the service provider. The system may further generate and present a graphical representation of data relating to the risk.

  • Patent number: 9351584
Abstract: The present invention relates to a split bed with improved characteristics, and in particular to a split bed with joinable sections including a connector used to join two pieces of a drive assembly, that has tab and slots to accommodate accessory devices and that is easily movable by one person. In one embodiment, the bed has a deck with several slotted tabs for receiving accessory devices. Two joinable sections are provided. The sections can be joined with six points of contact. A two part drive assembly is also provided. A pivotal connector is provided for joining the two parts of the drive assembly. The drive assembly moves cross members relative, and preferably within, longitudinal support members. In this regard, movement of the cross members causes the bed to selectably raise or lower. The bed is compactable to a very low height for shipping.

  • Publication number: 20160002732
Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for the identification of a molecular diagnostic test for cancer. The test identifies cancer subtypes that have an up-regulation or a down-regulation in biomarker expression related to angiogenesis and vascular development. The present invention can be used to determine whether patients with cancer are clinically responsive or non-responsive to a therapeutic regimen prior to administration of any anti-angiogenic agent. This test may be used in different cancer types and with different drugs that directly or indirectly affect angiogenesis or angiogenesis signalling. In addition, the present invention may be used as a prognostic indicator for certain cancer types. In particular, the present invention is directed to the use of certain combinations of predictive markers, wherein the expression of the predictive markers correlates with responsiveness or non-responsiveness to a therapeutic regimen.

  • Publication number: 20140051591
Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for the identification of a molecular diagnostic test for cancer. The test defines a novel DNA damage repair deficient molecular subtype and enables classification of a patient within this subtype. The present invention can be used to determine whether patients with cancer are clinically responsive or non-responsive to a therapeutic regimen prior to administration of any chemotherapy. This test may be used in different cancer types and with different drugs that directly or indirectly affect DNA damage or repair, such as many of the standard cytotoxic chemotherapeutic drugs currently in use. In particular, the present invention is directed to the use of certain combinations of predictive markers, wherein the expression of the predictive markers correlates with responsiveness or non-responsiveness to a therapeutic regimen.
