  • Patent number: 9920223
Abstract: A double-sided adhesive tape having a first outer impact-adhesive side and a second outer side that can be heat activated, comprising an at least two-layer product structure comprising the layers A and B. Layer A is an impact-adhesive layer chemically cross-linked by means of thermal initiation or an impact-adhesive carrier layer chemically cross-linked by means of thermal initiation. Layer B is a layer on the basis of a thermoplastic plastic. Layer A and layer B are in direct contact with each other, and the surface of layer B that is in direct contact with layer A has been corona- or plasma-pretreated. The double-sided adhesive tape is characterized in that the corona or plasma pretreatment is performed in an atmosphere comprising nitrogen, carbon dioxide, or a noble gas or a mixture of at least two of said gases.

  • Patent number: 9550920
Abstract: Adhesive tape having at least two layers A and B laminated directly on one another, with at least one or both layers A or B being an adhesive, and the interfaces of the layers A and B laminated on one another being subjected to a physical method, the physical method being selected from the group consisting of corona discharge, dielectric barrier discharge, flame pretreatment and plasma treatment, before the layers are laminated to one another, with the two methods differing from one another.

  • Patent number: 9493680
Abstract: A double-sided adhesive tape useful for adhesively bonding articles composed of thermoplastic polymer, of EPDM, or of another rubberlike material is provided, having a first outer, pressure-sensitive adhesive side and a second outer, thermally-activatable side, and that comprises an at least dual-layered product construction consisting of layers A and B, layer A being a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that is chemically cross-linked by thermal initiation, or being a pressure-sensitively adhesive carrier layer chemically cross-linked by thermal initiation, layer B being a thermoplastic synthetic material-based layer, layers A and B being in direct contact with one another, and the surface of layer A, which is in direct contact with layer B, having been corona or plasma pre-treated. The corona or plasma pre-treatment takes place in an atmosphere of nitrogen, carbon dioxide or a noble gas, or a mixture of at least two of these gases.
