  • Publication number: 20230144728
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an automatic micro algae culturing device and system for self-cleaning, continual automatic algae culturing and irradiant optimizing. The culturing device includes a photosynthesis tubular reactor for micro algae culturing, with transparent cleaning particles to scrape off any unwanted particles or components such as including and not limited to formation of biofilm. The device also includes a nano-air bubble generating device installed around the tubular reactor to generate and feed nano-air bubbles into the tubular reactor, where the nano-air bubbles increase an active surface area for ions to interact with the algae in the culture medium in order to increase productivity of the culturing device by enhancing rate of mitosis, productively of oil, protein and polysaccharide and the nano-air bubbles also sterilizes the culture medium.

  • Patent number: 11453849

The culturing device includes a photosynthesis tubular reactor for micro algae culturing, with transparent cleaning particles to scrape off any unwanted particles or components such as including and not limited to formation of biofilm. The tubular reactor has multiple double-walled glasses. Inner walls of the tubes in the tubular reactor may be coated with superhydrophobic coating to avoid bio film formation, or sticking of any hydro dirt or dust particles. Because the cleaning particles are transparent, they wont block any sunlight for photosynthesis in the tubular reactor.

  • Patent number: 10360561
Abstract: The present systems and methods provide for secured communication between a mobile device and a server/gateway. The systems and methods can be used, for example, as a way to confirm whether or not a transaction was actually authorized by the user, thereby settling a chargeback dispute for a previously executed transaction. The method comprises receiving the dispute regarding the transaction including associated transaction data, and retrieving a digital signature associated with the transaction data, the digital signature computed by signing the transaction data. The digital signature is then verified using a public key, wherein the public key corresponds to a private key stored on a mobile device. It is then determined whether or not the transaction is fraudulent based on a verification result of the digital signature.

  • Patent number: 9596237
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for providing a more seamless purchasing experience using a mobile device. The mobile device acquires data, such a barcode image, an image of an object or text, or audio data. A non-limiting example of a barcode is a Quick Response (QR) barcode. The acquired data is then used to obtain a network address of a payment website or webpage, which allows a user to make a purchase for a given product or service. The mobile device then launches the payment website or webpage. A user can enter into the mobile device, through the payment website or webpage, a supplemental ID used for authenticating the transaction.

    Assignee: SALT TECHNOLOGY, INC.
Inventors: Simon Law, Dennis Poon, Richard Burnison, Jerry Bokser
  • Patent number: 9539525
Abstract: A centrifugation device includes a feeding tube defining a longitudinal axis, and a plurality of centrifugal plates extending longitudinally and radially around the feeding tube and rotatable about the longitudinal axis. The centrifugal plates have coarse surfaces coated with one or more layers of polymer material. A centrifugation tank is disposed coaxially with the feeding tube and around the centrifugal plates. A sidewall of the tank is provided with micro/nano filters. Methods for isolation of algal biomass from an algae and aqueous mixture, and extraction of oil from kitchen residue and/or microalgae are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20140156531
Abstract: A user may claim to have not made or allowed a transaction and that the transaction was made in error. Where it appears the user has not authorized the transaction, the funds of the transaction are returned to the user, or are charged back. Systems and methods provide a way to confirm whether or not a transaction was actually authorized by the user, thereby settling a chargeback dispute for a previously executed transaction. The method comprises receiving the dispute regarding the transaction including associated transaction data, and retrieving a digital signature associated with the transaction data, the digital signature computed by signing the transaction data.
