  • Publication number: 20200247443
Abstract: The present invention involves a device for holding and transporting a gas cylinder. The device, a hand truck, has an arm portion having a lip portion mounted thereon. The device also has at least one stabilizing peg mounted to the lip portion with two wheels mounted to the lip portion. The at least one stabilizing peg is sized and configured to engage the stabilizing ring of the gas cylinder placed on the lip portion. Optionally, a hook may be attached to the arm portion such that the hook may engage the gas cylinder. The arm portion may further comprise a handle portion pivotable between a raised position and a collapsed position. The handle portion is lockable in the raised position and the lowered position. The arm portion further comprises a cradle portion sized and configured to engage and stabilize the gas cylinder. The gas cylinder, having a stabilizing ring, may be tilted forward, and the hand truck may then be positioned to engage the cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20080018138
Abstract: The present invention includes a rail system for securing a roofing sheet to a structure having a roof and at least one wall. The rail system includes a rail and a clamping member. The rail includes a wall mounting portion, a ledge extending from a lower portion of the wall mounting portion and a lip extending from the wall mounting portion and forming a recess between the lip and the wall mounting portion. The wall mounting portion is adapted to be mounted on the wall of the structure. The clamping member has a first end and a second end. When the roofing sheet is positioned over the rail, the first end of the clamp member fits within the recess and the opposing second end presses the roofing sheet against the ledge to thereby hold the clamp to the rail by interference fit and to clamp the roofing sheet between the rail and the clamping member.

  • Patent number: 6698154
Abstract: The present invention involves a window trim system with a bracket and trim ring, and a method of installing the same. The window trim system includes a clamping bracket which is press fit and screwed into preformed channels in the window frame. The clamping bracket has a receiving portion, such as a depression or catch, for interfitting with an engagement portion of the trim ring, such as a protrusion or catch. A trim ring is then snapped into place over the clamping bracket, thus hiding the screw head from sight. Advantageously, the window trim system is capable of securing the window frame to the vehicle wall with a minimal number of brackets and screws.

  • Patent number: 6250701
Abstract: The present invention involves an extension unit for a structure, such as a recreational vehicle or manufactured housing component. The recreational vehicle or manufactured housing component structure has an exterior wall, and the extension unit provides additional interior space for the structure when in a deployed position. The extension unit comprises a floor, a roof, a first wall extending between the floor and roof, a second wall operably coupled to the first wall and extending between the floor and roof, a pivotal connection linking the first wall and one of the second wall and exterior wall, and a biasing mechanism for biasing the first wall into the other of the second wall and exterior wall in the deployed condition. The pivotal connection links the first wall to the second wall, while the biasing mechanism biases an edge of the first wall into the exterior wall in both the deployed position and the retracted position.
