  • Patent number: 11250277
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that perform occupancy detection. Photoelectric sensors, such as through sensors, are arranged in an angled cross pattern, such that light beams of the through sensors cover a substantial portion of the seating surface of a seat. Upon interruption of a light beam making up the angled cross pattern, an object is detected in the seat. The through sensors may be held in a narrow armrest of a seat by a bracket attached to the seat frame. Further, through sensors for neighboring seats may also be held by the bracket.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 14, 2019
Date of Patent: February 15, 2022
    Assignee: Universal City Studios LLC
Inventors: Dennis Reeves, Tracy Green, Cesar Guarderas, Cole Hirapara

  • Patent number: 7807758
Abstract: A method for preparing a defunctionalized alkylenedioxyheterocycle polymer or copolymer involves providing a polycarboxylic acid derivative functionalized alkylenedioxyheterocycle polymer or copolymer and transforming the polymer or copolymer into a defunctionalized alkylenedioxyheterocycle polymer or copolymer which is polyhydroxy, polythiol, polyamino, or polycarboxylic acid functionalized alkylenedioxyheterocycle polymer or copolymer. The monomers, homopolymers and copolymers for use in the method are new compositions of matter. The polymers containing polycarboxylic acid derivative functionalized alkylenedioxyheterocycle units are soluble polymers which are defunctionalized to yield insoluble polyhydroxy, polythiol, polyamino, or polycarboxylic acid functionalized alkylenedioxyheterocycle polymers.

  • Publication number: 20060271640
Abstract: A method for remotely administering automated neuropsychological/neurocognitive tests on a client computing device includes downloading a test module associated with the user to the client computing device and executing the test module. Test data generated during text execution is transmitted to a central server, for example, and the test module and the test data are then deleted from the client-computing device.

  • Publication number: 20060240393
Abstract: A system, method, and article of manufacture for providing automated neuropsychological testing. The invention includes a plurality of computer program modules wherein each program module includes computer readable instructions for administering a neuropsychological assessment test and a computer program control module that allows a user to control at least one parameter relating to the neuropsychological assessment test. The present invention also allows the user to build a custom-made test battery. The system of the invention includes a microprocessor capable of executing the computer program modules and the computer program control modules, an input device in communication with the microprocessor and an output device operable to provide information relating to each neuropsychological assessment test.
