Abstract: A method of authenticating a passcode entered by a user on an unstable electronic computing device. The method includes receiving an indication that an input is unstable, impacting the ability of a user to provide the input; generating a dynamic keyboard including at least one alphanumeric key, the dynamic keyboard being configured to address the unstable input; presenting the dynamic keyboard to the user; receiving the input from the user, the input comprising a selection of at least one alphanumeric character of a passcode on the dynamic keyboard; and authenticating the input received from the user by comparing the at least one alphanumeric character and a stored passcode.

Abstract: A method performed by a provider computing system includes training one or more artificial intelligence (AI) models to generate task prompts, receiving a requested action from a customer, determining contextual information about a plurality of customer devices, generating a task prompt using the one or more AI models, generating an interaction board accessible by the customer via a customer device and accessible by an employee via an employee device, receiving an indication that the customer pre-task has been completed prior to a customer interaction at a branch location, updating the interaction board to indicate that the customer pre-task has been completed prior to the customer interaction, receiving information associated with the requested action from the customer device during the customer interaction, and updating the interaction board to include the information received from the customer device during the customer interaction.

Abstract: A system and method for utilizing MD6DM models built from a SNAP case to generate an interactive four-dimensional (“4D”) angiogram, the 4th dimension including the dimension of time. By introducing such a 4th dimension to the angiogram, the example systems and methods enable visualization of a patient anatomy, such as blood flow over time, to be presented to a user in an interactive manner. This allows a user, such as a surgeon, to more effectively visualize and determine, for example, various anatomical features, such as the structure of an arteriovenous malformation (“AVM”).

Abstract: In a satellite mobile telecommunications system based on the GSM standard, and using a TDMA frame structure, discontinuous transmission (DTX) mode is used to take advantage of the substantial silences which occur during normal speech. In this mode, traffic channel (TCH) data is not sent, but control of the link between a ground station and a user terminal is maintained by sending control channel data bursts (SACCH) together with silence descriptor (SID) frames. To avoid high peak to mean values of transmission power at the satellite, the emission time of the bursts is controlled so as to be uniform over the available sending opportunities. Conventional techniques for doing this cannot be used in a system which includes diversity operation. Therefore, the burst transmission time at the ground station is set in dependence on a reference provided by the user terminal which is a modified version of the reference generated for contention resolution of random access requests.

Abstract: A mobile communication system has a plurality of satellites and mobile stations. A mobile station is capable of communicating with more than one satellite. A satellite transmits a set of neighboring cell data to one of the mobile stations. The data set comprises first and second portions related to communication with a first and a second satellite of the plurality of satellites, respectively. When the data set is received the first time by the mobile station, it decodes both first and second data portions to establish a neighboring cell list, which is stored within the mobile station. When the mobile station receives subsequent transmissions of neighboring cell data, it need only decode either the first data portion or the second data portion based on the presence or absence of an alert message.

Abstract: A test device provides an enclosed gas entrapment system for the safe determination of both the presence and rate of occurrence of fermentation gases where the targeted microorganisms were both present and active. The gas entrapment device has a density greater than the liquid culture medium within the chamber and therefore settles to the base of the chamber and includes slots in the vertical walls of the device which allow the passage of fermentative microorganisms into and out of the device during the period of culture and examination. When there has been the generation of gases entrapped within the device, the density of the device becomes compromised forcing the device to elevate in the liquid fermenting medium to form an indication that gases have been produced in the sample by the microorganisms and that organisms are present.

Abstract: In a cellular satellite mobile telecommunication system, cell reception measurements for cell broadcast channels (BCCH) at a user terminal (UT 1) are made in an idle mode when no call is being made. At the commencement of a call, the measurement information (31, FIG. 8) relating to the measurement made in the idle mode is encoded onto a slow control channel (SACCH up) associated with a speech channel (TCH) for speech communication from the user terminal to a remote ground station (SAN 1) via a satellite (3a), and the power of the speech channel transmitted to the user terminal from the satellite, and from the UT to the satellite, for the call, is set in dependence upon the report. The reported data can also be used to determine whether to make a cell or satellite handover.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for a system where a user terminal 11 can communicate with satellites 9A-C, the satellites 9A-C can communicate with earth stations 7A-E which in turn can communicate with the terrestrial telephone system 1. The user terminal can register with one of the earth stations 5C which has an associated mobile satellite switching center 5C which acts as a gateway into the terrestrial system 1. When attempting to contact the user terminal 11 from the terrestrial system 1 the mobile satellite switching center 5C of visitor registration, if it cannot make the contact itself, instructs other earth stations 5, 7, in turn, according to different methods of alternative earth station 7 selection, until contact is made, and then routes all voice messages 21 through itself 5C to retain the single and original gateway into the terrestrial system 1.

Abstract: In a satellite mobile telecommunication system, TDMF traffic is transmitted from a SAN 1 via a satellite 3 to a mobile user terminal UT1, over a duplex link 1, 2. The SAN 1 instructs the satellite 3a to transmit signals over link 1 to UT 1 at a power level dependent upon the quality of signal received by UT 1, so as to adaptively control the power to an efficient level. Similarly, the power level of signals transmitted by UT 1 to the satellite is controlled depending on the error rate. The power level required is computed as a function of the average of easured areas determined during a given measurement period together with a margin which is computed as an adaptive function of a deviation of the errors bout the average value.

Abstract: In order to use spectrum more efficiently in a TDMA mobile telephone system, signal measurements are carried out by a mobile station outside of the normal frame structure, i.e. idle frames for signal measurement are not provided. When a diversity or a double data rate mode is being used, a communication burst period is stolen to provide time for the measurements. The invention is particularly applicable to satellite mobile telephone systems in which the burst length is less than the signal propagation time.
