    Abstract: A tack-off system for cleaning vehicular bodies eliminates the presence of exposed, flexible conduit at locations above the path of travel of the vehicle therethrough. Additionally, the apparatus includes a positioning system which allows the tack-off brushes to be moved in relation to the vehicular bodies, without changing the positional orientation of the brush assembly with regard thereto. Also, the system includes a vortex enhanced plenum utilized to evacuate ambient air and contaminant particles.
