  • Patent number: 11250957
Abstract: A system for preparing compounded medication doses is disclosed. The system includes a computerized medication compounding workstation configured to receive a batch compounded medication dose order over a network and retrieve an electronically stored protocol having a set of steps to prepare compounded medication doses specified by the batch compounded medication dose order. The example workstation is also configured to display, on a graphical user interface to a pharmacy operator, information related to the set of steps for preparing the compounded medication doses and receive input related to the preparation of the compounded medication doses including at least medication information scanned from at least one source medication container and a digital image from a digital camera. The workstation verifies completion for each step before allowing the pharmacy operator to move to a next step to prepare the compounded medication doses.

  • Publication number: 20180366215
Abstract: A system for preparing and managing patient-specific dose orders includes an order processing server configured to receive the patient-specific dose orders, define a queue of dose orders and distribute the dose orders to at least one dose preparation station. The dose preparation station is in bi-directional communication with the order processing server and has an interface for providing an operator with a protocol associated with each received drug order and specifying a set of steps to fill the drug order. Steps to fill the drug order are captured at the station and a display, positionable independent of the station outputs the dose order queue and metrics concerning activity at the dose preparation station. Systems for preparing patient-specific doses and a method for telepharmacy in which data captured while following the protocol are provided to a remote site for review and approval by a pharmacist.

  • Patent number: 10019734
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to flexible, user-adapted, continuous searching, on behalf of a particular user, for points of interest relevant to the user's current location within a specifically computed personal region of interest. In a general case, the personal region of interest is computed as a function of the user's level of disposition towards the searched-for points of interest. The level of disposition towards the searched-for points of interest may, in turn, be based on two or more of the user's location, the current date and time, a history of the user's interaction with the POI-searching system, including user-initiated searches and user selections from displayed search results, a user profile developed for, and continuously updated on behalf of, the user, and a current context for the search, as specified by a search query or by other context-specifying means.
