  • Patent number: 11052809
Abstract: The present invention discloses various aspects of a cable reel trailer that uses the automotive force of a tractor or truck used to transport the trailer, a method of making same, and a method of using. The inclusion of a pivotally connected tongue that is pivotally connected to the main frame of the trailer overcomes many of the aforementioned problems with the prior art because there is no motor or hydraulic system necessary for lifting the cable reel securely on to the trailer. In accordance with the present invention, the towing automotive force, such as a truck, tractor or any other hauling vehicle, provides all the power for lifting the cable reel, rather than requiring a separate power source on the trailer for doing the heavy lifting. By locking up the wheel on the trailer with a wheel stop, the forward movement provided by a towing truck can concentrate on lifting the cable reel instead of moving the trailer forward. This means that no separate on-board power is needed for lifting the cable reel.

  • Patent number: 9546021
Abstract: A method and apparatus for storing, transporting and distributing kegs. The apparatus comprising a keg shelving assembly with two or more stacked shelves. The shelves containing individual keg slots formed by two or more horizontally disposed rails. Stored kegs within the keg slots are accessed by a vertical sliding frame within a fixed frame vertical guidance assembly. A hinged platform is fixed to the vertical sliding frame having an open, horizontal position and a close vertical position relative to the vertical sliding frame. The apparatus further comprises a braking assembly that utilizes the downward force created by a load on the platform, to create a braking action opposing the downward force. This action allows a user to easily and efficiently lower a keg from one of the stacked shelves.

  • Patent number: 6682048
Abstract: A cam that when positioned next to a nail which is engaged with the claw of a claw hammer will keep the prying fulcrum of the hammer at the level of the head of the nail as the hammer rotates along the cam and pulls the nail upward with a force directed along the axis of the nail. The cam is provided with a handle that serves as an aid in positioning the cam and also an aid to placing the cam in and removing the cam from a craftsman's personal carrier. The handle also can serve as a straight edge, a scale, a scribing guide, a pry, and a tack and brad pulling aid. The handle and the cam together can serve as a square. The cam can be provided with a slot which a partially pulled nail can enter so that the hammer can regain a mechanical advantage and to press against the work surface and protect it from damage from the nail being pulled from the work surface.
