  • Publication number: 20250119242
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for transmitting data to a pair of truly wireless devices. A first device, which may be considered the primary device, may determine a first data packet was received. The first device may also determine the first data packet was not received by a second device of the pair of truly wireless devices. In response to determining the second device did not receive the first data packet, the first device may request the first data packet be retransmitted.

  • Publication number: 20250031022
Abstract: This document discloses technology generally related to an accessory that may wirelessly connect to one or more host devices such that the accessory is able to receive content from two or more of the host devices simultaneously. The accessory may have two or more wireless communication interfaces connected to two or more respective host devices via a type of wireless connection. The accessory may determine a time to simultaneously receive content from and/or transmit content to each of the host devices. The time may be determined by adjusting the start times for reception and/or transmission of content from the two or more host devices, and/or it may be determined based on the type of wireless connection. According to some examples, the accessory may determine a priority for each of the wireless connections using arbitration rules. The accessory may output the received content simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20250016216
Abstract: This document describes an accessory that may wirelessly connect to one or more host devices such that the accessory is able to receive content from two or more of the host devices at the same or substantially the same time. When each of the host devices is wirelessly coupled to the accessory, the accessory and each host device may determine a bit rate for the accessory to receive content from each host device. The accessory may receive content from a first host device at a first bit rate. Based on the content received, the accessory may determine a new bit rate for other host devices.

  • Publication number: 20240333996
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to devices for media handoff. An example device includes a first transceiver configured to transmit and receive signals to communicate with a second transceiver of a handoff device. The signals are indicative of an orientation and a position of the first transceiver relative to the second transceiver. The device also includes an inertial measurement unit configured to measure changes in angular orientation or position of the device. Additionally, the device includes a memory. The memory stores a first set of instructions. Further, the device includes a processor communicatively coupled to the first transceiver, the inertial measurement unit, and the memory. The processor is configured to execute the first of instructions to cause the handoff device to output a piece of media.

  • Publication number: 20240174190
Abstract: A rock rail assembly for a vehicle includes a mounting assembly coupled to the vehicle and comprising a shock absorption pad, and a rail assembly pivotably coupled to the mounting assembly and having a rail. The shock absorption pad is the vehicle-laterally-outboardmost portion of the mounting assembly. The rail assembly is operable to pivot relative to the mounting assembly to move the rail between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the stowed position of the rail, a portion of the rail abuts the shock absorption pad.

  • Publication number: 20240174191
Abstract: A rock rail assembly for a vehicle includes a mounting structure, an arm mounted to the mounting structure, a motor bracket coupled to the mounting structure, a motor mounted to the motor bracket, a pivot bar pivotably coupled with the mounting structure, a rail coupled with the pivot bar and operable to move between stowed and deployed positions, and a sector gear coupled to the pivot bar. The motor has a shaft that includes a first end, a second end, and a worm gear portion. Operation of the motor drives rotation of the shaft. The sector gear is operably engaged with the worm gear portion of the shaft, such that rotation of the shaft by the motor drives pivotal movement of the pivot bar relative to the mounting structure, causing movement of the rail coupled thereto between the stowed and deployed positions.

  • Patent number: 11847626
Abstract: Facial recognition is used to allow access to platform-agnostic account information. A processing and verification device receives a request for a transaction requiring access to account information of a user. Responsive to the request, a new image of the user is generated, such as using an image sensor of a camera. The new image is used to query a database to determine whether an existing image stored in the database matches or substantially matches the new image. Responsive to a positive result of the query, the request is allowed by the processing and verification device granting the access to the account information. The access to the account information is then used to complete the transaction. The account information uses a global architecture such that it can be used with different hardware and software configurations of a connected system.
