  • Publication number: 20240132747
Abstract: A coated substrate comprising a coating extending over at least a part of the substrate. The coating is obtainable from a coating composition comprising (a) a polymeric binder; and (b) a feathering reducing agent comprising a carboxylic acid reactive functional group. The coated portion of the substrate comprises a pretreatment layer. The pretreatment layer is obtainable from a pretreatment composition that comprises a trivalent chromium compound. The invention extends to a method of coating a pre-treated substrate and a coated package, such as a metal can.

  • Publication number: 20240101860
Abstract: A coating composition comprising (a) a polyester binder material; and (b) a feathering reducing agent. The feathering reducing agent is selected from (i) an acrylic feathering reducing agent comprising a functional group selected from hydroxyl, epoxide, phosphatized epoxide and/or acid-functional; (ii) a hydroxy-functional polyester feathering reducing agent; (iii) a feathering reducing agent comprising a functional group selected from amine, amide, imine and/or nitrile; (iv) a phosphatized epoxy feathering reducing agent; (v) a phenolic resin feathering reducing agent; and/or (vi) a feathering reducing agent comprising an oxazolyl functional group. The invention extends to a substrate coated with the coating composition and use of the coating composition to reduce feathering.

  • Patent number: 10135831
Abstract: A system and method for handling a request from a client device to access a service from a server. The method comprises receiving a request from a user using a client device to access a service from a server. The request is received by a network traffic management device having a local external access management (EAM) agent. The EAM agent directly communicates with an EAM server that provides authentication policy information of a plurality of users able to at least partially access the server. User credential information is sent from the EAM agent to the EAM server, whereby the EAM agent receives access policy information of the user from the EAM server. The system and method selectively controls access of the user's request to the server in accordance with the received access policy information at the network traffic management device.

  • Publication number: 20160219035
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and network traffic management apparatus that receives an authentication request from a user of a client computing device, the request comprising credentials for the user. A connection is established with a selected one of a plurality of active directory servers using a stored Internet Protocol (IP) address for the selected active directory server. At least a portion of a fully qualified domain name of the selected active directory server is received in response to an anonymous lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP) query sent to the selected active directory server using the established connection. The user of the client computing device is authenticated using the at least a portion of the fully qualified domain name and the credentials.

  • Patent number: 9036822
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium and application manager computing device comprises obtaining at least one cryptographic key from a request by a client computing device for a user session. User information corresponding to a user is encrypted or decrypted using the cryptographic key. The request is authenticated based on encryption or decryption of the user information. The cryptographic key is deleted after the completion or termination of the user session.

  • Publication number: 20090270076
Abstract: A method for creating a response to a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request from a mobile device. The HTTP request is received from the mobile device. A determination may be made as to whether to optimize the response based on the HTTP request. If it is determined that the response is to be optimized, then an action to be performed on an object in connection with optimizing the response is determined. The object may be part of a document specified in the HTTP request. An optimized response may then be generated based on the action.
