  • Patent number: 9878223
Abstract: A golf club head comprising multiple means of adjusting the location of the center of gravity, and the bias, is disclosed herein. In a preferred embodiment, the golf club head comprises a non-metal medallion comprising a channel that is affixed to one of the crown and the sole, a slidable weight sized to fit within the channel, and a cover that attaches to the medallion and locks the slidable weight within the channel at a location selected by a user. The cover preferably includes at least one cutout so that the slidable weight is at least partially visible to the user when it is locked within the channel. The cover also includes additional cutouts that receive protrusions extending from the medallion to more securely attach the cover to the medallion.

  • Publication number: 20180021643
Abstract: The present invention comprises a golf club head comprising a body having a crown, a sole, a front wall and a hosel, wherein the body defines a hollow interior. The golf club head further comprises a center of gravity adjustment assembly wherein the center of gravity adjustment assembly is positioned within the hollow interior of the body, and allows the center of gravity of the golf club head to be adjusted by at least 0.050 inch, preferably along a vertical axis.

  • Patent number: 9849359
Abstract: A golf club head comprising a channel and a sliding weight that can be reversibly fixed at any point within the channel is disclosed herein. The channel preferably is disposed on the sole and extends from a heel side of the golf club head, around a rear side, and ends at a toe side of the golf club head. This channel is not constrained to a planar arc, but instead twists as it extends around the golf club head so that it follows the contours, and preserves the aesthetics, of the golf club head. The slidable weight comprises a base portion and a first cap, and a second cap that has the same dimensions as, and is interchangeable with, the first cap is disposed in a pocket in the sole proximate the face of the golf club head.

  • Patent number: 9694256
Abstract: A golf club head comprising a slidable weight for adjusting the location of the golf club head center of gravity, as well as the golf club head bias, is disclosed herein. In particular, the golf club head, which may be a wood or iron-type head, comprises a pair of rails extending along at least one surface, such as a rear surface of an iron type head or a channel disposed in a wood-type head, and a slidable weight comprising a pair of grooves sized to receive the rails. In some embodiments, an applique or one or more clips are applied over or to the rails to prevent the weight from disengaging from the golf club head.

  • Publication number: 20170165541
Abstract: A golf club head comprising a body, at least one weight cartridge, and a plurality of hollow tubes is disclosed herein. The body comprises a face section, a sole section, and a return section, and also defines a hollow interior. Each of the plurality of hollow tubes extends from the return section to the sole section to reduce stresses placed on the face during impact with a golf ball, and the at least one weight cartridge is sized to fit within at least one of the plurality of hollow tubes. The sole section and return section each comprise keyed apertures providing access to the hollow tubes with which they communicate, and the at least one weight cartridge comprises a keyed structure sized to fit through the keyed apertures.
