  • Patent number: 8560163
Abstract: A method and a device for filtering diagnostic messages obtained from a plurality of elements of a system, each of these elements comprising diagnostic means capable of detecting a failure and of transmitting a message comprising at least one failure indication. The state of at least certain elements of the said plurality of elements is represented by a model of state. After at least one failure message has been received, this message is filtered according to the failure indication that it contains and according to the model of state. In response to the filtering step, the model of state is updated according to the failure indication or the message is rejected. The filtering step is advantageously based on a propositional logic mechanism.

    Assignee: Airbus Operations S.A.S.
    Inventors: Denys Bernard, Christophe Bordry
  • Patent number: 8296252
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and devices for evaluating operational risks in order to aid in the decisions concerning maintenance operations on vehicles during scheduled utilization of the vehicle. Scheduled utilization comprises at least one utilization period. After the degradation of at least one of the components of the vehicle has been analyzed (130), the functional consequences, for the vehicle, of the analyzed degradation are evaluated (125) according to the scheduled utilization of the vehicle. An operational index of the vehicle is then determined (110) for the utilization periods according to the evaluated functional consequences.

  • Patent number: 7162336
Abstract: The system (1) comprises at least one device (2) of avionics type, at least one interface means (3) available to an operator, information transmission means (4) capable of connecting together the device (2) and the interface means (3), a means (11) of avionics type for determining, in the form of at least one image, a representation of information to be transmitted from the device (2) to the interface means (3) and for transmitting this representation in the form of at least one image to the interface means (3) which is formed so as to display, on at least one display screen (13), the image corresponding to the representation of said information.

  • Patent number: 7139644
Abstract: A process and system for transmitting information on an aircraft may employ an avionics-type device having a first determining section that determines a first check code representative of information that one wishes to display on a display screen of an interface device available to an operator. The interface device may include a second determining section that determines an image corresponding to the representation of the information and a third determining section that determines a second check code representative of the image. A comparator intercompares the first and second check codes and displays the image on the display screen only if the first and second check codes are identical.
