  • Patent number: 7542054
Abstract: An image data processing apparatus for detecting a scrolling direction of a first image thereto scaling the first image simultaneously is disclosed. The image data processing apparatus includes an image detecting module and a scaling module. The image detecting module is used for extracting an eigenvalue of the first image and its scrolling detection thereto outputs a directional signal and a line difference signal. The scaling module receives a ratio signal, the directional signal, and the line difference signal thereto outputs a second image accordingly.

  • Patent number: 7428561
Abstract: A data processing apparatus for scaling a digital data source is provided. The data processing apparatus includes a ratio transformation module and a scaling module. The ratio transformation module receives a ratio signal and generates a Look-up Table (LUT). The scaling module connected to the ratio transformation module receives the digital data source, scales the digital data source based on the LUT, and then outputs a processed digital data.

  • Patent number: 7420569
Abstract: An adaptive pixel-based blending method and system of a video processing system including steps of acquiring a first pixel value in accordance with a first index value, acquiring a first blending factor in accordance with the parts of the first pixel value, calculating a second blending factor in accordance with the first blending factor, and generating a overlapped and blended image in accordance with the blending factors and the pixel values of the source images. Thus, multiple source images can be overlapped and blended in a flexible way.

  • Publication number: 20070109314
Abstract: The present invention is a general mode of a pixel-based adaptive blending method. By receiving several different input signals to generate a pixel and a blending factor of each signal, an output pixel can be generated depending on these pixels and blending factors. Thus, several different video and graphic images can be overlapped and blended flexibly on an output display.
