    Abstract: The present invention defines an improved pair of grips for lifting bulk materials, boxes and cartons. The grips have an ergonomically designed handhold on one side and a replaceable array of needle-like pointed projections on the other side for engaging the lifted piece. The projections are tapered, narrow and angled such that when engaged with a load, additional gripping power results. Holsters are provided for safekeeping when not in use. The holsters allow the user to grab the grips, engage the box or carton and replace the grips into the holsters with a few natural and fluid movements.
