  • Publication number: 20200395798
Abstract: Disclosed is a rotor for a spoke motor, in which both rare-earth magnets and ferrite magnets are arranged in series, the rare-earth magnet has a smaller size than the ferrite magnet, and a small amount of rare-earth magnet is used, such that manufacturing costs may be greatly reduced, an efficient output may be produced, the motor may produce a higher output than a spoke motor model using only the ferrite magnet, and the motor may use a smaller amount of rare-earth magnet than an IPM type motor model, but may produce an output at a similar level to that of the IPM type motor model.

  • Publication number: 20200395796
Abstract: Disclosed is a rotor for a motor for reducing the amount of usage of permanent magnets, in which a rotor structure in which multiple multilayered permanent magnets are embedded has a vacant space in which no permanent magnet is embedded, such that the amount of usage of the permanent magnets is reduced, and an output, torque, and efficiency of the motor are improved by using the space in which no permanent magnet is embedded. The present invention has an effect in that the amount of usage of the permanent magnets is markedly reduced during a process of manufacturing the motor, such that material costs are reduced, working time required to embed the permanent magnets is reduced, working time is greatly reduced, costs are reduced, the number of working processes is reduced, and assembly workability is improved.

  • Patent number: 9787147
Abstract: An interior permanent magnet motor includes a stator having teeth on which a coil is wound, a rotor rotatably provided inside the stator, the rotor including a plurality of rotor sectors, and at least two permanent magnet recesses formed between the rotor sectors. Ferrite permanent magnets are embedded in predetermined ones of the permanent magnet recesses that are formed in an inner portion of the rotor. Rare-earth permanent magnets are embedded in the other ones of the permanent magnet recesses that are formed in an outer portion of the rotor.
