Abstract: A computer having a transformable architecture and a method of transforming virtual computers are disclosed. A computer architecture can be transformed such that a user can use a plurality of virtual computers, and thus a data storage unit of a computer transforms a file system according to architecture information selected by an input of the user, and an OS and an application program execute available resource information and the like and provide same to a main unit including a CPU and a memory, thereby safely protecting personal information. The data storage unit actively controls a computer architecture, and thus an access to pieces of information forming inactivated another virtual computer is impossible. Accordingly, security is greatly enhanced.

Abstract: A data storage apparatus with a variable computer file system is disclosed. The variable computer file system adopts the concept of a dedicated sub-file system and is activated or deactivated according to whether authentication is granted. Each dedicated sub-file system is activated or deactivated according to whether authentication is granted, and is recognized by a host computer. Deactivated dedicated sub-file systems cannot be recognized or accessed by the host computer. Accordingly, since a third party accessing the host computer cannot access a dedicated sub-file system without possessing a means for activating the dedicated sub-file system, security is greatly strengthened.

Abstract: A control system for monitoring and taking action on security, abnormal situations, abnormal operations, and the like in various fields is disclosed. The present control system includes a user computing unit and a secure computing unit. The user computing unit includes its own CPU and generates control information by executing a user program. The secure computing unit includes its own CPU and again checks input information inputted from a device to be controlled and the control information generated by the user computing unit to generate system check information. The system check information is compared with system state determination standard information preset by a user, and when the system state is within a normal range, the control information is outputted as it is, and when the system state is not within the normal range, the user takes a preset appropriate security action.

Abstract: A camera service is configured such that a user can view an image while directly controlling a camera station including a camera installed on a platform. The camera service provides images of tourist spots, scenic spots, and other places of interest. The user can view the images of tourist spots, scenic spots, and other places of interest in real time while directly controlling the camera, installed on the movable or fixed platform, through a camera service server. The user is connected to the camera station through a wired/wireless network, and can control the direction, zoom-in, zoom-out, etc. of the camera for a predetermined time. If the user wants exclusive use of the camera, the user can pay a fee.

The system includes one input unit configured to receive an input from user; an output unit configured to output a current state and result; a dedicated communication port configured to transmit and receive data to and from a password adaptor; a memory configured to save a program for security setting function; and a processor configured to execute the program saved in memory. When the processor waits for an input of a password from user and simultaneously password adaptor is coupled to dedicated communication port, the processor receives a password through communication with password adaptor and compares received password with a pre-saved password, and when the received password matches the pre-saved password, the processor unlocks a secure state without further inputting a password.

The security management computing unit manages the I/O devices, monitors and restores a system, and monitors and controls the user computing unit, and the user computing unit is isolated from the security management computing unit and executes a user program and a user OS.

Abstract: A device that can efficiently manage capacity of a backup auxiliary storage device in an auxiliary storage device and a method of managing backup auxiliary storage device are disclosed. The auxiliary storage device includes an original auxiliary storage device, a backup auxiliary storage device, and a user input device. A controller that controls these devices is disclosed. The backup auxiliary storage device stores recovery information about the original auxiliary storage device. The user input device receives a user input for switching between a normal mode and a backup mode. When in the normal mode, the controller controls the auxiliary storage device so that a host computer boots using an OS in the original auxiliary storage device and is not able to access the backup auxiliary storage device.

Abstract: Disclosed is a remote controller and broadcasting receiver having an EPU function and service system and method using the same. A program receiver receives broadcasting signals in wire or wireless manners and extracts broadcasting program information. A signal processor controls the extraction of the broadcasting program information by the program receiver, decodes the extracted broadcasting program information and controls to store the same in a memory.
