  • Patent number: 12085136
Abstract: A vibrational decoupling interface connects between handle shafts of power tools such as lawnmowers, line trimmers and the like. The interface has a housing coupled to one of the shafts and having a channel having a first magnet at a first end thereof and a second magnet at a second end thereof. The channel further has a travelling magnet travelling between the first and second magnets, the magnets arranged such that the travelling magnet is repelled from the first and second magnets and the travelling magnet is coupled to the other shaft to thereby reduce the transmission of vibration between the shafts.
