Disclosed also herein is a stable amorphous co-precipitate of tapentadol hydrochloride with pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, a method for the preparation, pharmaceutical compositions, and a method of treating thereof. Advantageously, the amorphous co-precipitates of tapentadol hydrochloride have improved physiochemical characteristics that assist in the effective bioavailability.
