Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing, an active fan installed in the housing, and an airflow reversal prevention assembly. The assembly includes a fixed rack secured to the housing opposite to the active fan, a movable rack, a passive fan, a curtain shelter, a shaft, and a resilient member. The curtain shelter is attached between the fixed rack and the movable rack. The shaft is fixedly passed through the movable rack and the passive fan to be rotatably secured to the fixed rack. The passive fan is driven by air from the active fan to rotate, thereby driving the movable rack to rotate relative to the fixed rack by the shaft to allow the curtain shelter being folded up. The resilient member can urge the movable rack to rotate back to allow the curtain shelter being spread open.

Abstract: A network service control method detects whether a mobile node communicating with a corresponding node is trending to a second local area network from a first local area network and forks and transmits a user agent and a server agent to a proxy when the mobile node is trending to the second local area network. After that, the user agent registers onto the proxy according to a result obtained by the handshaking. Finally, when the mobile node moves into the second local area network, the mobile node communicates with the user agent for obtaining a connection tunnel reserved by the user agent to communicate with the corresponding node.

Abstract: A projector includes a display screen, an imaging system adapted to provide an optical image, a reflector arranged on a transmission path of the optical image, and an optical transmission medium disposed inside the refraction space. The refraction space is formed between the reflector and the display screen. The optical image travels through the optical transmission medium by the reflection of the reflector and is transmitted to the display screen. A refractive index of the optical transmission medium is not equal to one.

Abstract: A projector including a display screen and an imaging system is provided. The imaging system is adapted for providing an optical image and the optical image is transmitted to the display screen through an optical transmission medium. The refractive index of the optical transmission medium is not equal to one. The transmission path of the optical image is changed by controlling the refraction index of the optical transmission medium in order to thin the projector.

Abstract: An electronic system includes a case, a plurality of fans, a plurality of shafts, at least one leaf member, and a plurality of elastic elements. The case defines a plurality of exits. The fans are fixed in the case corresponding to the exits. The shafts are fixed in the case corresponding to the fans. The at least one leaf member is rotationally mounted to one of the shafts. The elastic elements are mounted to one of the shafts to bias the at least one leaf member to close the corresponding exit. A guide apparatus for the electronic system is provided as well.

Abstract: A service level agreement-based service monitoring system is provided by a service management broker (SMB) for a service provider registering and publishing a web service, and uploading a service level agreement with a service requester to a database. The service management broker respectively has a monitoring broker online mode, a non-monitoring broker online mode and a non-monitoring broker offline mode. The above three modes correspondingly utilize a broker to monitor the quality of a web service, and the above three modes can be respectively provided for the service requester evaluating the quality of the web service and the service provider examining service evaluations, and further for informing the service provider and the service requester for performing an appropriate operation when any one of the service provider and the service requester breaks the service level agreement.

Abstract: A heat dissipation assembly mounted to a main board in a blade server includes a graphics card, a heat sink, and a thermal board. The graphics card includes a GPU and a plurality of first graphics memory chips mounted on a top thereof, and a plurality of second graphics memory chips mounted on a bottom thereof. The heat sink for cooling the GPU and the first graphics memory chips, includes a base attached to the top of the graphics card, a finned part fixed to a top of the base, and a heat pipe sandwiched between the base and the finned part. A pathway of the heat pipe passes over the GPU and at least part of the first graphics memory chips of the graphics card. The thermal board is mounted to the bottom of the graphics card for cooling the second graphics memory chips.

The thermal dissipating device includes a heat conductive plate with a first side and a second side opposite to the first side, a plurality of heat pipes, and a plurality of fin arrays. The heat conductive plate includes a first part with the first side in closely contact with the electronic component, and a second part perpendicularly disposed beside the first part. The heat pipes are embedded in the second side of the conductive plate, extending from the first part to the second part. One of the fin arrays is attached to the second side of the first part of the conductive plate. The others of the fin arrays are attached to the second part of the conductive plate the first and second sides respectively.

Each diaphragm includes a hollow main body, and a plurality of movable petaline portions extending out from an end of the main body. Difference in air pressure may cause the petaline portions of each of the diaphragms to press together to form a closed position to block passage of air through the main bodies of the diaphragms from one direction or move away from each other to form an open position to allow passage of air through the main bodies from an opposite direction.

Abstract: An apparatus uses a guide toy vehicle and has a smart floor environment. The smart floor environment is filled with location tags. Data can be found in a back-end database for location tags of an exhibit unit through a wireless network. The data comprise multimedia information to improve learning. Thus, with the present invention students can have better learning for achieving a default teaching goal.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for selecting an access network in a heterogeneous network environment. The method records user configuration information in a mobile device and applies the mobile device to first collect and record current status information of each access network, then determines a network stability coefficient for each access network based on both the user configuration information and the current status information, and finally selects an access network with a maximum network stability coefficient to thus establish a connection with the access network selected.

Abstract: A heat sink vacuum packaging procedure to rapidly complete the packaging of a heat sink without drilling, pipe welding, vacuum pumping, or other processes. Because the packaging procedure saves much time and labor, the manufacturing cost of the heat sink is relatively reduced. During packaging, no welding process is employed, therefore the invention prevents accidentally flowing of tin solder into the inside of the heat sink to affect the quality of the heat sink, and the quality of the heat sink is maintained.
