Abstract: A method for forming a metal layer on a surface of an insulating plastic, includes attaching metal particles in a selected area of the surface of the insulating plastic, irradiating the selected area with a laser such that the selected area of the insulating plastic is fused to be mixed with the metal particles, and performing chemical plating to the selected area to form a metal layer in the selected area.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a body, a soldering portion, an insertion arm, a through hole, and a conductive layer. The soldering portion is disposed on the body. The insertion arm protrudes from the body, and has at least one contact portion. The through hole is formed in the body. One end of the through hole is connected to the soldering portion, and the other end of the through hole is formed through the insertion arm. The conductive layer extends along an inner wall of the through hole from the soldering portion to the insertion arm, and connects the contact portion. The conductive layer is disposed on the body and the insertion arm to achieve an electrical contact effect. Since the body and the insertion arm are conducted through the conductive layer in the through hole, the electrical connector is easy-to-manufacture without requiring assembly of terminals.

Abstract: An electrical connector for connection between two electronic devices by means of compressive contact is disclosed to include an electrically insulative connector body, which has a plurality of through holes cut through the top and bottom surfaces thereof, a plurality of conductors respectively formed on the top and bottom surface of the electrically insulative body, and a connection structure, which is formed of a conducting material covered on the surface of each of the through holes to electrically connect the conductors on the top surface of the electrically insulative connector body to the conductors on the bottom surface of the electrically insulative connector body respectively.
