Abstract: In one embodiment, a method detects that a web browser of a user has accessed an annotated webpage. The annotated webpage comprises one or more webpage elements comprising a set of selectable portions. The method detects that a user has utilized a user input system to select a selectable portion of a web-page element. The method identifies the selectable portion of the web-page element. The method generates a list of identifiers based on the identity of the selectable portion. With the list of identifiers, the method searches a database of annotated web-page elements managed by the proxy server system. The method retrieves a set of returned annotated web-page elements from the database. The method assigns a similarity score to each returned annotated web-page element. The similarity score is based on a similarity of the selectable web-page element with a respective returned annotated web-page element. The method ranks each returned web-page elements based the similarity score.

Abstract: In one exemplary embodiment, a method includes the step of obtaining a digital image of an object with a digital camera. The object is identified. A user query is received. The method includes the step of matching, with at least one processor, the user query with at least one manipulable portion of a virtual view of the digital image of the object. The method includes the step of obtaining the at least one manipulable portion from a database of manipulable portions of the object. The method includes the step of integrating the at least one manipulable portion with the virtual view of the digital image of the object, wherein a manipulable portion comprises a region of an augmented-reality element integrated into the virtual view of the digital image of the object, and wherein the augmented-reality element comprises a hyper link to another augmented-reality element comprising a virtual interior view of the object and wherein the camera obtains the predefined user gesture.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system of facilitating value-based bartering over the internet are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system of e-commerce includes a computer network, a server to host a market place website, a listing module to enable an entity to assign a specified value to a good and to list the good for trade on the market place website such that the listing of the good will expire after being posted for a specified period of time, a trade module to enable an entity to trade the good for an other good of an other entity on the market place website, a search module to enable the entity to search a list of goods on the market place website.
