    Abstract: An electrified vehicle includes a chassis and a plurality of battery cells positioned along the chassis. The chassis includes a right frame member and a left frame member. Each of the right frame member and the left frame member has a vertical portion, a first end portion extending from a first end of the vertical portion, and a second end portion extending from an opposing second end of the vertical portion. The right frame member and the left frame member are configured to support a cab and a body. The right frame member and the left frame member extend lengthwise in a longitudinal direction. The plurality of battery cells are supported by at least one of the right frame member or the left frame member via couplings positioned along the vertical portion of the at least one of the right frame member or the left frame member.

The second wire is enclosed within a protective covering. The electrical control unit is configured to monitor a resistance or conductance of the second wire via the one or more sensors and detect a wire conductivity fault in the second wire.
