Publication number: 20120266025Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for enabling automated analysis of an extracted eScript to identify one or more problems within a configuration and script. The eScript is extracted from a Siebel repository and received in a DAVID (Development Application Verification Information on Demand for Siebel application where the VB.NET application, called SiebelParser, is utilized to conduct the analysis of the eScript. Occurrences of issues within an eScript are detected by SiebelParser. Issues within the eScript may include one or more of: empty event handlers, explicit object release, setting field values utilizing hard coded values, unnecessarily activated fields, call to next record after a call to delete record, and functions containing unnecessary code. Results from the analysis are reported to one log file document. The results of SiebelParser's log file are later incorporated to a spreadsheet by DAVID, to provide a more readable output format.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 6, 2012Publication date: October 18, 2012Applicant: IBM CORPORATIONInventor: Oliver Derek Alexander Seiffert

Publication number: 20070170018Abstract: A disc brake assembly is provided that includes a disc, a caliper, and a piston having a rear end slidably mounted in a bore in the caliper, a front end that faces the disc, and an inner axial surface. A brake pad is disposed between the piston and the disc. The brake pad has 1) a back plate having front and rear surfaces and 2) a friction pad mounted on the front surface of the back plate. A structure is situated on the rear surface of the back plate. The assembly also has an improved spring clip for holding the brake pad in the assembly. The spring clip is configured to be connectable to the structure on the rear surface of the back plate and engageable with the inner axial surface of the piston.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 28, 2006Publication date: July 26, 2007Applicant: HB Performance Systems, Inc.Inventor: Derek Alexander

Publication number: 20070163851Abstract: A brake caliper includes a housing having at least one bore formed therein. A coolant passage is formed through the housing and extends radially outwardly from the bore and is fluidically coupled thereto. The coolant passage can accept a coolant, which can be actively moved or it can be passively moved. The brake caliper also has at least one piston slidably mounted in the bore. The piston can be made from a thermally conductive material. The piston can include a wall that is thicker at a first end there of than at the second end thereof. The thicker end is that which contacts a brake pad. A method of cooling a disc brake assembly is also provided. The coolant passage takes heat out of the disc brake assembly before it reaches the brake fluid. Heat is dissipated by thermal exchange into the caliper, coolant, and/or the atmosphere.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 29, 2006Publication date: July 19, 2007Inventor: Derek Alexander
