  • Publication number: 20230003616
Abstract: Techniques are directed to utilizing a break-in assembly to break-in a gear box. The break-in assembly includes a gear box support to support the gear box. The break-in assembly further includes a drive apparatus coupled with the gear box support, the drive apparatus being constructed and arranged to drive the gear box while the gear box is supported by the gear box support. The break-in assembly further includes a loading apparatus disposed in a fixed position relative to the gear box support, the loading apparatus being constructed and arranged to apply loading to the gear box while the drive apparatus drives the gear box. Accordingly, the gear box may be installed on the break-in assembly, broken in during a gear box break-in period while the gear box is installed on the break-in assembly, removed from the break-in assembly, and installed on a water vessel.

  • Publication number: 20210402472
Abstract: The present application relates to a method for the production of a noble metal nanomaterial comprising: (A) adding an aqueous solution of a source of noble metal ions and a reducing agent to an aqueous solution of an organic compound to form a reaction mixture, wherein the organic compound is capable of undergoing 2D planar stacking in aqueous solution; and (B) separating the noble metal nanomaterial from the reaction mixture. The present application also relates to a noble metal nanomaterial manufactured according to said method.

  • Patent number: 9802165
Abstract: This invention relates to bubble generation, in particular to microbubble generation in a microfluidic device, which bubbles may be useful as contrasting agents or drug delivery vehicles. The invention further relates to apparatuses, systems and methods for manufacturing said microbubbles, microbubbles produced by such methods and to their uses, e.g. in medical, diagnostic and other such applications. The microbubbles are preferentially formed using a microspray regime.

  • Patent number: 9621428
Abstract: An example multi-tiered cloud application topology modeling tool is provided that facilitates receiving metadata associated with a widget, the widget being expressive of an interface representing a base class of a topology element in a cloud application topology, the topology element being classified in one of a plurality of tiers of cloud application topology, adding an instance of the widget to the cloud application topology, enforcing rules described by the metadata that specify behavioral constraints on the widget in a context of the cloud application topology across the plurality of tiers, and modifying the cloud application topology according to the rules without human intervention, the modified topology being rendered on a canvas of a user interface of the cloud application topology modeling tool. In specific embodiments, the cloud application topology on the canvas is converted to a stack blueprint that can be executed to instantiate the topology.
