    Abstract: In a method and system for a communications system, identifying at least one of a received message that has been decrypted using a first decryption method and a message to be sent that is to be encrypted using a first encryption method, generating a copy of the at least one of the received message and the message to be sent, encrypting the copy of the at least one of the received message and the message to be sent using a second encryption method to create an encrypted copy of the at least one of the received message and the message to be sent, and transmitting the encrypted copy of the at least one of the received message and the message to be sent from the communications device for decryption and storage.
