    Abstract: The fire hazard associated with the use of dibasic lead phosphite as a stabilizer for vinyl resins is reduced by mixing with the dibasic lead phosphite an additive selected from hydroxides or hydrated oxides of aluminium, magnesium or antimony, stearates of barium or calcium, dibasic lead stearate and carbonates of calcium or magnesium.
