Abstract: A coffee and brewed beverage making apparatus and method includes a coffee filter that is immersed in and removable from heated fluid in a brewing vessel. The filter has a bottom and side with mesh openings and is formed to facilitate agitation of the filter while the filter is in a brewing vessel during the brewing process, The filter is used with French press style coffee makers and both manual and automatic coffee carafes.

Abstract: A camera lens cap includes radially movable latch members carried on an endwall of the cap and apparatus having exposed user engageable surfaces. The latch members are movable between the first latching position and a second unlatched position relative to an adapter which has a camera lens attachment feature. An interior groove formed in the adapter and engageable by the latch members when the latch members are disposed in the first latching position to affix the lens cap on the adapter and the camera lens.

Abstract: A method and system for easily relocating a thermostat for a heating and/or cooling system is used to enable a more suitable location for the efficient control of heating or cooling. The thermostat system utilizes a selectively placable transmitting thermostat that communicates with a receiver that is installed in place of the original, removed thermostat and connects by the existing original thermostat wiring to the HVAC units. In another aspect, multiple transmitting thermostats communicate with a single receiver which accepts thermostatic and other data. The receiver is configured to allow the user to select which one or more of the thermostats are made active. If multiple thermostats are activated, the user can select the priority assigned to each.

Abstract: Guide members are carried on a drive motor mounting bracket in a vehicle power seat adjuster and receive a flex drive shaft extending between the drive motor and a lead screw mounted in the track assembly in a snap-in connection. The guide members stationarily support the flex drive cable from movement and are formed of a pair of spaced legs. Inner surfaces of the legs have an arcuate shape to snap around and tightly engage the flex drive cable housing.
